Do you still consider travelling as a wasting-money activity? If so, you might want to rethink your opinion. Many people think that travelling wastes money. But, travelling actually has many benefits to the travellers themselves. Also, there is this way of travelling called backpacking, where you can save a great amount of money. Of course, this way does not include luxurious facilities while travelling. Helps to open one’s mind, broadening one’s knowledge, and making us happier are just three simple and direct benefits of travelling. The three benefits aforementioned will be explained further below.

The first benefit of travelling is that by travelling, someone who is once a very closed-minded and over-reacting person, in general, can become more open-minded because of meeting people in the different background of culture and race. Living in one place for the rest of one’s life sometimes makes them be closed-minded because they have not seen another ‘type’ of people.

The second benefit is that one can get much knowledge of any aspects by travelling, only if that person is aware enough of it. The knowledge of another’s culture, such as the traditions, the foods, and especially the language is just one aspect of knowledge that one can get by travelling to many places.

The third and last benefit of travelling is that we can become happier. Why is that? That is because we will see a different atmosphere of places and activities by travelling. Living in one place with the same routine often makes us bored and even lazy. But, by travelling to many places on earth, or even the outer space, we would become entertained by how is the progress of civilization.

Finally, travelling, which is an activity perceived by many people as a way of wasting money actually has many benefits. Three of which have been explained above. You might want to go to the travelling agency after reading this to plan your next holiday, of course after all of this pandemic is seriously over, and go on a trip!
